I’m not often political. I don’t really want to sit and argue with you about the hot topic of the day. I keep up as much as I can but I don’t know enough to tell you the pros and cons of Obamacare. And I never enter a fight I think I cannot win (Thanks 3 Ninjas!). But I do know about gay rights and I’ve written about it<\/a> several times here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So when I say there is only one choice in November when it comes to gay rights, I know I’m right. The closest thing Romney has to being sympathetic to gays, is that Ann Romney watches Modern Family<\/em> and called it her favorite show. The creator of Modern Family<\/em><\/a> then came out and told Ann Romney she could have the role of officiator of Cameron and Mitch’s wedding… as soon as it’s legal. Then Ellen DeGeneres told Ann Romney<\/a> she would guest star as her roommate on the show if she’d like. That’s about as good as it gets. People joke that she loves a show in which the most beloved characters are against her party’s, and her husband’s, platform.<\/p>\n

Obama has made it a point to fight for the rights of the gay, lesbian and transgendered communities. To showcase that, Obama released a touching documentary ad, narrated by Jane Lynch of Glee<\/em> fame. Watch the video below and you’ll see why there’s only one choice for me in November:<\/p>\n
